Nottingham is a city in Nottinghamshire, England with the population 329,200. Nottingham has connections to the story of Robin Hood to the lace-making, tobacco factories, and bicycle. It has the largest metropolitan city in the East Midlands and the next largest in The Midlands.
Education
The University of Nottingham and the Nottingham Trent University are the two University of the city attended by almost 62,000 students. Nottingham High School was city's oldest educational institution established in 1513. The city has lots of institutions and academics giving training and education to the students aged above 16.
Religion
Nottingham has three famous Anglican cathedrals. The oldest and the largest is St. Mary the virgin, in Decoration market. There are several churches and the meetings rooms in the city. Many of these magnificent structures have been destroyed, and some have been re-used. All the important religion has places of worship, including Islam and Christianity.
Culture
The two large auditoria of Nottingham: The Nottingham Playhouse and the Theatre Royal. The city has various important museums and art galleries: National Justice Museum, and City of Caves. It has various big entertainment and music venues including the Royal Concert Hall, and Nottingham Royal Concert Hall.
