Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough is a large town located in North Yorkshire, England. It has a population of 138400. In the year 1889, Middlesbrough became a county borough within the north riding of Yorkshire.

Education

In the year 1992, it transformed into a university town. There are more than 20,000 students in the Teesside university. Computing , health, social care, arts and media are the main departments of the university. Games design and computer animation are taught in depth in this university.

Middlesbrough college is one of the largest college in Middlehaven with over 16,000 students. The Northern School of Art, Trinity Catholic college and Macmillan Academy are the other ones.

Transport

Majority of bus services are provided by Stagecoach and Arriva North East. The long distance travel is operated by MegaBus and National Express. Transpennine express and northern operate the train services. The rail services operated by northern go to NewCastle, Sunderland, Darlington, and Red car.
