Ipswich

Ipswich is a county town located in East Anglia. It is located about sixty-six miles north east of London. For the whole of its history, it has been one of England’s important ports. At the time of the 2011 census, more than 75% of the population were living within the borough. It has a population of 1,33,384. The town has various quarters where Central and the Waterfront are most popular. Most of the town’s retail shopping takes place at the Central. All the restaurants, pubs and hotels are located in the popular Waterfront area. At one point of time, the waterfront was the most important dock in the kingdom.

Transport

The two railway stations are lpswich and Derby Road. From the Harwich International airport, it takes about 40 minutes and it takes close to an hour from the Stansted airport.

Lpswich buses and First Norfolk operate the bus services in lpswich. There are also several smaller companies which operate the bus service.
