Hinckley

Hinckley is in Southwest Leicestershire, England. It is a market town. Hinckley is the second-biggest city in Leicestershire's administrative county after Loughborough. Hinckley is situated roughly at the midpoint between Leicester and Coventry cities and is near to the big town of Nuneaton in Warwickshire.

Education

Battling Brook CP, Richmond, Hinckley Parks, St. Peter's Catholic, St. Mary's England Church, Westfield Infant / Junior, and Sketchley Hill Primary School (in Burbage) are the main primary schools. The secondary schools include Redmoor, Hastings in Burbage and St Martin's Catholic Voluntary Academy in Stoke Golding all feeder schools for Hinckley Academy, the two schools in the town for Years 10 and 11. The school also runs the sixth form. The town is also to North Warwickshire & Hinckley College, a college of Further Education. William Bradford (Earl Shilton) is the only other major college in the region. There is also Dorothy Goodman Special School with caters for both seniors and juniors with disabilities, with units integrated within other local schools.
