The High Wycombe often referred to as Wycombe, is a big town in Buckinghamshire, England. Lying in the River Wye valley surrounded by the Chiltern Hills, it is 47 km (29 miles) north-west of Charing Cross in London this information is also inscribed on the Corn Market building in the city centre. It is also 21.2 km (13.2 miles) south-east of Aylesbury County Town, 23.4 miles (37.7 km) south-east of Oxford, 15.4 miles (24.8 km) north-east of Reading and 12.4 km (7.7 miles) north of Maidenhead.
