Fleet

Fleet is a town and civil parish in Hampshire, England's Hart district, 58 km from London's WSW and 16 km east of Basingstoke. It is part of Hart District's major city and has large business areas of technology, strong rail links to London, and is well linked to the UK motorway network.

The city has a famous golf club, athletics club, an annual half marathon, and four football clubs.

Transport

• Rail: The railway station serves the fleet on the London line to Basingstoke.
• Bus: Fleet has a strong local bus service, Fleet Buzz, operated by Stagecoach bus, runs through the city and provides access to nearby towns including Farnborough and Aldershot

Sports

Fleet is the home of the North Hants Golf Club. It has five football teams from the Non-League: six-a-side team from Bender Boys F.C. playing at the Hart Leisure Centre, Fleet Town F.C. Who is playing Fleet Spurs F.C. at Halethorpe Park. Playing in Kennels Lane, Fleet Albion, playing in Dippenhall St., Crondall, and FC Fleet playing in Zebon Copse.

It also has a half marathon widely used to train for the London Marathon and the Fleet & Crookham AC Athletics Club.
