Bromley is a large city in South East London, England. It is the primary town of the London borough of Bromley. It is located 15.0 km to the south-east of Charring Cross. The location of this town on the coaching route and opening of the railway station in 1858 were crucial for its progress and transfer from agrarian village to retail and commerce. The local growth of London in the 20th century, it significantly expended in population and incorporated as a municipal borough in 1903.

Two national rail stations serve Bromley.
