Lean Six Sigma Training

Introduction

During this course, delegates will acquire the knowledge and skills required to become a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. This course includes all an individual will require to pass Lean Six Sigma Yellow and Green belt exams.

After passing this course, candidates will gain a qualification which indicates that the holder has the skills required to work effectively in a Lean Six Sigma project team or lead a small Lean Six Sigma project themselves.

Lean Six Sigma is a business process improvement methodology which combines the two most important and effective business improvement philosophies; Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma. Lean removes waste from manufacturing processes and ensures customers get the best value, whereas Six Sigma improves processes using quality management and defect reductions. Combining the two methods will enable individuals and businesses to gain the best of both methods; speed of Lean along with the quality of Six Sigma.

Case Study

An independent fleet management services provider, FMG Support, based in the UK implemented Lean Six Sigma methodology to help improve their customer service and general efficiency.

The company started the implementation of Lean Six Sigma by training their business improvement manager to become Black Belt certified over the course of a year. Once he had successfully passed the course, he helped train up the rest of his team to acquire Lean Six Sigma skills to instil a continual process improvement culture which would run throughout the entire company.

FMG brought in web-based solutions using analysis tools, which helped speed up their processes and helped save the company totally £800,000.
